Law’s Invisible Women

This article examines the unintended gendered consequences of lockdown on women’s rights, particularly those related to work, health and wellbeing. Situating this assessment within wider feminist legal scholarship, which exposes nature law tendency legislate in a way that prioritizes privileged male subject, we argue legislation subsequent decisions fail centre lived experiences so deprioritize needs.
